FIELD OF APPLICATION
For fixing rear view mirrors with metal base on windscreen.
PREPARATION
Working Conditions: Do not use at temperatures below +15 ºC. At
lower temperatures, heat inside of car (windscreen).
Preliminary Surface Treatment: Make sure parts (windscreen
and metal mirror base) are clean, dry and free of grease.
Remove all old adhesive- and tape residue. There should be no
condensation on windscreen.
APPLICATION
Directions for use:
Mark intended position of mirror on outside of windscreen.
Attention: due to tension on windscreen, this should be the
exact same position as before. Cut the enclosed mesh in form
and size of mirror base. Apply adhesive from syringe evenly
and generously on mirror base. Press mesh cut to size into wet
adhesive and press mirror base to marked area. Hold firmly
for at least 5 minutes. Any movement of mirror base during this
period will result in a bad adherence. Let cure for at least 15
minutes before adjusting mirror position.
Stains/residue: Remove stains immediately with acetone.
Points of attention: Car Mirror is an anaerobic adhesive,
meaning that it is designed to cure in absence of oxygen, in
combination with the impregnated mesh. Adhesive outside
bonded areas will not cure due to presence of oxygen.
